Department of Political Science founded in 1960 and since then it is trying to inculcate the values of sincerity and commitment in its students.
The department offers UG level programme i.e. B.A. and Dr. Jitendra Kumar Vishwakarma has been teaching since last eighteen years.
Dr. Vishwakarma is trying to make the students understand the subject better. Students too show great zeal to associate with the subject. Proper guidance to the students like how they can make their career in the field of Political Science, what are the job opportunities in the field, is provided.
M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly has changed the syllabus at graduate level in 2011-12 and tried to make the subject more contemporary and vast, which the students welcomed.
In the college library, reference books and the famous articles, other study materials are available and the matter is updated time to time. For the proper and vast knowledge of Political Science, its relation with other subject like History, Sociology, Economics, Geography etc. are searched and studied because in contemporary world every subject is related and influenced by each other.
