Departmental Library
We have a Departmental Library facility for the students of MSc Previous and Final and meritorious BSc students. At present we have 100 books, issued from the central library. Books are issued to the students on producing college Id Card. Dr. Pramod Kumar, Associate Professor, is In- charge of this library.
Innovative Projects in M.Sc. Final Laboratory
In the year 2019, University has introduced project work in the M.Sc. Final Year. Taking this opportunity we have encouraged the students of M.Sc. Final year for the innovative projects. In the end these students have completed based on latest automation devices like RaspberryPi, Arduino etc.
Registered Centre for Olympiads
Department is a registered centre for 1st stage of various International Olympiads. This includes National Standard Examination in Physics (NSEP), National Standard Examination in Chemistry (NSEC), National Standard Examination in Biology (NSEB), National Standard Examination in Astronomy(NSEA) and National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS). These examinations are conducted by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) annually to select official Indian team for International Olympiads. The students of class 9th to 12th of any recognised board can participate in these examinations. Dr. Lalit Chauhan, Asst Prof. is the centre in charge of these examinations.
Permanent Centre for National Graduate physics Examination (NGPE)
Department is a permanent centre for the National Graduate Physics Examination. This examination is conducted by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers across India. Students of BSc 1st, 2nd and 3rd Year with Physics subject can participate in this examination, which is voluntary in nature. There are several rewards for the topper students. We have been conducting this continuously since 2006. Dr. Lalit Chauhan, Asst Prof. is the centre in charge of this examination.
