Ramanujan Mathematical Society: A mathematical society named after the great mathematician, Ramanujan was formed in year 2017-18 for the benefit of U.G. and P.G. students. The objectives of this society are to promote the following:
· mutual interaction, a democratic outlook and a spirit of oneness among the students of the college.
· the social, cultural and intellectual development of the students.
· consciousness amongst the students of the college about the events taking place around them with a view to better equipping them as responsible and educated citizens and to build up a healthy students movement.
· among the students of the college a sense of service of the people and duty towards the state.
· harmonious relations among all sections of the College Community.
Departmental Library:
Department of Mathematics has its own departmental library for P.G. students which can be availed at their convenience. It makes convenient to them without approaching to the main library of college. Few research journals are also available in this library and research students can also take reference of Ph.D. degree thesis of past students which are also available in this library.
Educational tour:
Department also organizes educational tours for students from time to time. In recent past, tours were organized to the following places-
1. International Book fare at New Delhi.
2. Central Library, Mussoorie.
